Who Is Strawberry Lemon?

Hi! Strawberry Lemon is my name. It is a chosen name, but also my legal name. Just in case you were curious.

First and foremost I am a child of God. Adopted through Christ’s saving work on the cross. I am someone who is currently struggling with her faith, feeling growing pains, and wanting desperately to learn as much as I can about my Savior and share His truth with all who care to hear what I have to say.

I wouldn’t say I am a particularly trained author, but I like to believe I have some natural gifting, and that God is leading me to create this website and public journal entry today. I’m writing this from the Central Public Library in Omaha, Nebraska if that helps give you an idea of what my surroundings are like as I write this. There is such a treasure trove of information all around me here, and I am enveloped by souls. Statistically many are believers, same as me. Statistically many are not. My heart breaks for those that are not, and I pray that God will lead each one to Him. My heart reaches out to those that share my faith.

I will let you know now, most of the topics I will be tackling will be very controversial. I will say things that rub you the wrong way no matter who you are. I do not say this to steer you away from reading more of my writings in the days to come, but simply to let you know the bumpy ride you’re in for.

Some more things about me quick fire mode before I sign off for the day. I was home schooled all my life, kindergarten to 12th grade. I did graduate my home school, however I have recently decided to pursue obtaining a GED. At the time of writing this I am 24 years old. I haven’t studied academically in 6 years! I’ve assuredly grown rusty. I think I only remember how to use addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication these days and I completed Algebra 2 Saxon Math at the age of 14! That makes it TEN years since any study of math.

I have many hobbies, here are some of them listed in no particular order: Reading, Writing, Drawing, Cycling, Running, Gaming, Crocheting, Learning Language, Guitar, Piano, Ukulele, Singing. There are more but those are what came to my mind on the spot.

In many ways I have a lot of catching up to do in my life. I lost years to depression in my late teens. I hope to do that catching up now. by God’s grace and if it be His will. May he guide us in all we do.

Until tomorrow,

Sincerely, Strawberry.
